I've been a Kuroshitsuji (Black Butler) fan for many years. While I'm rather partial to a certain young Earl, I find all the characters quite intriguing and fascinating, so it's natural that I would enjoy this collection of art featuring Ciel, Sebastian, and the rest of the gang, all illustrated by the original artist, Yana Toboso. Also included are some illustrations of her first work (which nobody even remembers, sadly) called Rust Blaster, as well as a few other pieces.The volume, which is much too short for my preferences, features glossy, full-color pages filled with spreads and covers of primarily Bocchan, Sebaschan, though several also feature Grell and the other minor characters. At the end of the book, Toboso-sensei includes a small commentary on each of the pieces. The hardbound book includes two small bookmarks, one attached to each cover, as well. In traditional Japanese style, the book reads from right to left, though it doesn't much matter as the contents are entirely visual.Any fan of the series, and especially those who have a love for Sebastian and Ciel, really owe it to themselves to pick up this volume. I believe in supporting the artists and authors whose works I find enjoyable, and your purchase of this work also helps to do that. This is a beautiful book that will be a part of my collection for many years to come, and I'm certainly hoping for a second volume (and a third, and....)!

The book was well protected and is absolutely beautiful. From the cover to the pictures inside, it is so gorgeous to look through. It's well put together and I've had no issues with loose pages or any pieces falling out of it. It has made a great addition to my Black Butler collection. Definitely a great buy. Can't wait to get the second book.

I mean, what else can I say but if you love Black Butler and Yana Toboso's artwork, you need to get this! It's beautifully done, the artwork is vibrant and the pages are high quality as well. It was also packaged quite well and does not have any wear or tear from the delivery. If you are unable to get this at a book store, get it here!

I am a caregiver for my husband. I was sinking low with the stress of it all. The Lord put this book in my path on facebook one day about two months ago. It has been the biggest help and blessing to me. It gave me so much freedom from guilt, and trying to do it all while my own health wasn't being taken care of. The one thing that set me free was that it is okay to be self-centered sometimes when I need it. My life has totally revolved around my wonderful Godly husband and always putting my needs and feelings in last place.Thank you so much Peter for writing this encouraging helpful book. It has changed my life. I am on a new road physically, mentally and spiritually with more peace and joy in my life.

Hope for the Caregiver is exactly what the sub-title states: Encouraging Words to Strengthen Your Spirit. Peter Rosenberger's transparency captures the heart of the caregiver because his words capture the reality of the caregiver's days. He uses just enough personal detail to convince the reader that he "gets it" because he "lives it." He gets inside the head of the Caregiver throughout the book but I especially liked the chapter "Don't Believe Everything You Think and "Progress Not Perfection." He encourages Caregivers to take care of themselves so that they can take care of the one that they love. He is practical in his counsel. I highly recommend this book and hope that it is widely read because it not only encourages the caregiver, but it gives glimpse inside the life and heart of Caregivers.

This book gave me so much ..I found it while looking for another.The most encouraging words I got out of the book is:The “DELTA EFFECT”“Ladies and gentlemen, when the pressure in the cabin drops and the mask comes down please remember to put yours on first before taking care of anyone else…Mr. Rosenberg has helped to take the built up stress out of my life and brought me to a place of quite servitude…Thank you.

I attend the local Alzheimer's Project Support Group and have a wonderful leader (who's a Caregiver herself). On our last meeting, she read us a chapter from Hope for the Caregiver. What she read was a help to me, so I decided to look up the book on Amazon (they have the book available for $3.03 on their Kindle format and if you get Amazon's free version of Kindle, you'll be able to start reading the same day).May you find help and encouragement, as well.Update: I just finished the book. As a Caregiver I've had moments where I needed the wisdom and plain common sense the author's learned over the last 30 years of caring for his own wife. I am grateful that he put it down on paper.Peter recommends attending/having 2 support groups. I was blessed to learn about a Closed Group on Facebook called Memory People (founded by Rick Phelps who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer’s Disease in June of 2010 at the age of 57), while reading a review on Amazon. I highly recommend them, as well.

There is much to appreciate in Hope for the Caregiver, but I was put off by the extremely religious attachment to anything meaningful. This was not what I either wanted or expected from this book. I found it both distracting and annoying. I wanted to return the book right away, and the seller was most accomodating, but I was physically unable to get to a post office, so now I am stuck with the book. Parts of the book may be helpful, but you can get better information from other books or sources.

My husband is very ill, and I've been thrust into caregiver roll. This book was so helpful for me. I can't believe someone else had felt the same way I was feeling. Peter's encouraging words really did help me find peace, grace, a feeling of hope. I'm up to chapter 12 in just 2 days, and everytime I lose my patience I pick up the book and start reading again.

Incredibly helpful-and a very encouraging read & I wish I had found this earlier but am ever so grateful for it now! He covers many things like caring for yourself that is so important - or you wont be able to care for them.

This is an excellent book of reality and hope for those caring for a loved one or family member. I facilitate a caregivers' group and bought copies of this book to give as gifts for our members. They found the book inspirational and real.
