This is a very cute book that my kids flocked to immediately. My wife used it to make cookies with them, and they love the interactive pages where they can pretend to make cookies themselves every time they read it. Some of the pieces could get lost over time, but if you take care of it this book will hold up and bring joy for years.

This is the cutest little book. I like that it’s interactive and gets the kids involved in a learning activity. I’ll definitely be buying more of these.

Love Scott Kelby's Books! Practical, easy to follow and always filled with the latest, up to date information. So much is changing in technology/photography today. If you are using a DSLR, you MUST pay attention to all that the sensors/computer inside your camera offers when properly matched up with your computer/iOS/PC and the various software products available. Photoshop and Lightroom are cutting edge and maintain relationships with the major manufacturers of not just our cameras but also the sensors, lenses and color processors etc. Scott Kelby makes it his business to BE IN THE KNOW so that YOU CAN BE TOO! He and his team of Kelby One instructors are brilliant in Kelby One books and YouTube and of course their membership program but this book is your GO TO. Cannot say enough.

I found the first edition of this book invaluable, and the 2nd edition even more so. Excellent examples, clear directions, downloadable photos so the user can follow Scott's steps exactly and on the same image and get exactly the same results -- a really valuable learning tool. Same high quality pub as all Scott's books. Worth every penny.

This book could be better titled "Photoshop Tips for Photographers." A few good tips, a lot of gaps, no references and a wasteful book design with much of the valuable white space consumed with tiny unusable illustrations and vanity , irrelevant prose from Kelby. Pros: A good video on the book's internet page illustrating how to set up a great PS workspace for Photog's; Kelby's method for HDR producing great results for church interiors, extensive chapter on retouching female portraits; Cons: No discussion or tips on male portraits. no references or explanations on many topics particularly architecture, no discussion of Dodging & Burning, very little discussion of color and how to manipulate it.The book is barely worth the price.

I am a huge Kelby fan and purchase many of his books. For the money you are better off buying one of the other best selling photoshop books including Kelby's. This book is thin on pages and thin on content for the price. I recommend you take a look at your bookseller before you invest in this volume.

I chuckled and laughed and thoroughly enjoyed escaping into Kat's world for awhile. Loved the characters and their journey. I did not put this down until I finished and I definitely want more of this wacky group.

Nice semi-romantic comedy novel. Fairly quick read with humor and profanity. Appealing characters and lots of action. Basically a good break from the more serious reads out there.

This series was engaging with relatable complex characters unique with their own personal struggles. It was refreshing to read a story where the protagonist was not defined by their sexuality but was open to its fluidity and the complex nature of love in its many forms. I found myself very engaged in the plot and was sad when it ended. I hope there is more to come but I very much enjoyed the ride so to speak.

While it is easy to tell that some of this is a way to work against the constraints of the other genres the author works in, it is a very enjoyable series. Well drawn central character and the romantic mistakes along the way are natural seeming.

First, I want to say that this isn't a set you want to read when you don't have a lot of time. You'll want to set aside a day to read through every story in this set, back to back. It's just that great.I sat at my computer, ready to read through the first episode of this story before continuing on with my day. I'd planned to read an episode a day, but that never happened. I found myself reading through the entire thing in one sitting. Here is why:This story takes you into the future where humans are kidnapped and modified. They go through a procedure that gives them gifts, gift the antagonist wishes to use for his own advantages. This story follows Kate as she's kidnapped by a man she's attracted to and given powers of telepathy. She tries to navigate the world with her new powers but she had to figure out who she can trust. Either she trusts a sexy Viola, who shows up every time she's in a tough spot to save her, or the sexy stranger, Steve, who Viola tells her has nothing but bad intentions towards her.From the beginning, I wanted to take that ride with her and I must say, I am grateful I did. Through all the twists and turns, I was invested in Kate. I was easily able to connect with this character throughout the story as she learned to control her new powers.More than that, this story had it all - humor, suspense, action, cringe-worthy moments, and moment of pure celebration, sprinkled throughout it. I laughed and nearly cried with Kate as the story unfolded.The characters were well fleshed out, my favorite being Viola.If you are looking for a story that's intense, funny, and action packed with characters you're sure to think about years after you read it, this is the story for you.

I really enjoyed it! This book is full of humor. The narration is great and will keep you entertained. The author did a great job with the character builds and the plots. This was my first book by this author but definitely will not be my last. I really enjoyed getting all 5 books in this set. I was given a free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

I don't know what I was expecting when I downloaded this set. Maybe mildly interesting but I'll give it a try. I can always return it.Holy Crap !!! This set was a hoot!! I totally loved it. It had everything....hilarious dialogue, geeky co-workers, wild friends, accidental murders, mind control, diabolical evil, true love...like I said, everything!

This is a wonderful book. It’s helped me get further into the recovery part of my journey when it comes to my food and body image relationship that I have with myself.

A very informative book. Bordo has a very humorously sarcastic writing style as she draws connections about our warped cultural views in society. I owe this book my new informed perspectives on various topics bout the female and male bodies and the effects culture has on all of us.

An excellent text for younger adult women. As an older feminist, I found the book repeated what earlier writers have provided with greater intelligence and complexity. More appealing to less theoretical people.

I've never taken classes in feminism and this author has a really interesting take on body image and culture/media. I know this is a classic and I can see why. Very eye opening.

One of my favorite books on body studies. I recommend it to others.

This is my absolute favorite book on weight. It really opens your eyes and is so worth the read. I want to give it to everyone I know! It's theoretical but easy to understand and applicable to EVERYONE. Very much worth the read.

An interesting read for those interested in gender and the body. I'm glad I read it but it is not in my core area of interests so not a particularly memorable read.
