Oh my are these good. I was recently diagnosed as prediabetic and I am rapidly switching to low carbs and zero factory processed food (and its working!) but really hated the thought of missing my favorite chocolate treats: creamy fudge and peanut butter cups. They just have too much sugar even homemade to stay on my new life menu. Much to my surprise and great pleasure, these Fat Bombs (not a very flattering name, unfortunately) are every bit as good as any regular fudge or other homemade candies I have ever had and they are really low carb. Wow, I am impressed. Thank you Ms. Jane!

Definitely some great recipes in here! My husband and I are doing the keto diet and these are definitely helping out!!Most that I have made have taken about 20 minutes. Not a whole lot of recipes with weird ingredients thankfully!! Most need some sort of fruit or meat, grass fed butter, cream cheese, mascarpone cheese, heavy whippin cream, stevia, coconut oil, coconut butter, vanilla extract, seasonings, cocoa powder etc.The weirdest ingredients are definitely matcha ( this can be hard to find ) and psyllium husk powder. Otherwise, most everything can be easily found in your local grocery storeOne downside is yes, there are pictures, but a lot of pictures of ingredients rather than the finished product (there are pictures of finished recipes, but why have pictures of ingredients at all rather than pictures of the finished recipes?)This and the fact the preparation and cooking time and freezing time can be hard to read on some recipes (not detrimental to the experience, just poor format choice) is why it gets 4 stars.Overall I say it's a good book and worth the purchase if you want some delicious keto snacks!

Yummy recipes! My only giving 4 stars is because some of the recipes call for "sugar-free" syrups that contain artificial sweeteners (neuro-toxins). Yes it is easy to substitute healthy alternatives but this is supposed to be a book of healthful recipes.Still, I would recommend any of Elizabeth's books, her recipes are excellent! And ultimately, we are responsible for reading the ingredient lists.

This review is on the first recipe we made from this booklet: Tangy Coco Bombs. Recipe calls for 2 limes.... lime size and type is not mentioned. Neither is the amount of how much juice or zest the recipe calls for. I puchased 2 Persian limes and had about 3/4 cup of lime juice with 2 tbsp of zest. After melting the ingredients and adding all this lime, we had a very liquid mess. Recipe has no mention of the type of stevia (powdered? Liquid?). What is supposed to bind all of this? Just a sour soup! #5 in the directions says to roll into small balls and roll into coconut flakes.....ummmm this is a liquid! How are you supposed to roll liquid? #6 in the directions says to pour into molds and freeze. Horrible directions!!!!! Did the author actually make these? What a complete waste of time, money and ingredients!!!

Clearly no one tested these recipes or edited it. One recipe that was supposed to be able to be formed into balls was a soupy mess following the recipe and another listed ingredients that weren't even in the instructions. I cook quite a bit and was excited about the prospect of this book, but it just didn't deliver. Save the money, there are probably better alternatives out there.

The recipes had a great variety and were straight forward. However, there were a few things missing. For some peculiar reason the nutritional values were not on all the recipes in the kindle version; cant speak to the printed copy. There were some pictures of finished recipes but there were just as many colored pictures of an ingredient like a coconut. We readers would rather have a color picture of each completed recipe instead of a common ingredient.

What more can you say, fat bombs are just that... the recipes are delectable, creamy avacado & bacon balls, macaroons and the cocoa bombs.....num, num, num!

Worst keto cook book ever! If you plug in the ingredients to the Cronometer app, almost every single one has way more net carbs than is listed for the recipe. Not to be trusted!
