What a wonderful book to teach kids about prepositions! The ending is adorable. My son was surprised. We laughed. Every classroom should have this book! I loved how my older son explained to his little brother to think of prepositions like a bee in a hive. The bee can go in, out, under, over, above, around, etc. Very cute. :)

I thoroughly enjoyed this book, and was up until the small hours reading it. Anyone who has tried to make their living from working with horses knows how hard it can be, but very few equestrian novels actually take the time to realise this. In "Show Barn Blues" we meet a woman who has dedicated her life to horses, and is starting to wonder whether it has really been worthwhile. She still loves horses and riding, but is starting to lose some of the pleasure and passion that she first discovered as a child.Like all of Natalie's heroines, Grace is sometimes cranky and opinionated, but unlike Jules in "Ambition" (who I absolutely could not stand), Grace is a likeable character who makes good decisions. I suppose she is what Jules might one day be, if she can ever get that almighty chip off her shoulder! I see that a cross-over is coming up, and I hope that Grace is going to whip Jules well and truly into shape when that comes to pass.I couldn't put this book down, and I really enjoyed the cast, especially Kennedy and Anna. The characters' genuine love for their horses was felt throughout, and I loved the debate about the merits of trail riding vs arena riding. I know I would go mad if I was arena-bound, and my horse would too. Horses are not machines, and this book makes this point in a variety of ways. And I loved the pony appreciation - ponies are amazing, yet so often in American horse books they are treated as just being malicious or evil or only suitable for tiny children. You only have to look at the incredible ponies competing around the world to see that isn't true!

I read this one out of order, but enjoyed getting to know Grace, the older accomplished show barn owner featured in this novel. She's part of the Reinert Florida horse scene and she's an admirable woman. Show Barn Blues explores a few themes most horse owners will recognize: a childhood favorite pony, encroaching development, and balancing safety of an arena with the allure of hacking.Like all Reinert's novels, the characters are vivid and her descriptions of the Florida pines and atmosphere are transporting.

Telling it like it really is, so much of what happens in the horse show world is out of the spotlight. I love the authenticity Reinert brings to her stories and that she doesn't try to explain everything. She assumes her readers know a bit. This is my world and so I find this author's stories hit home again and again. Sometimes in ways I would least expect. Reinert blends humor and drama together to create a book hard to put down and definitely leaves you wanting more.

As a horse addict I often pick up horse related books but a good majority have left a bad taste in my mouth. I read a sample of this one on my Kindle app and was hooked! Finally, someone who really understands the horse world! Even down to the small details. This book got me interested in the author, I've read almost all her books now and not a single one disappoints! Fabulous work, I look forward to more horse adventures with Natalie Keller Reinert!

Loved this book! Very well written and describes florida and what is happening here to a T! I live in Ocala and use to show hunters so really enjoy a book that gets the facts right and is enjoyable to read!

Wow, I can't even think of where to start or how to word this to express my joy at the level it is at right now. This book started me off with a smile on my face and ended me with an even bigger one. The overall story and plot line were put together perfectly to a create a story that's not only memorable, but also relatable. Thought the story there were several parts where I could picture and remember myself thinking or doing the same as the main protagonist. When a book has the ability to do this, it deepens you into the story, it can make it feel as if you are there and living it. The plot thought the story had the ability to make me feel remorseful, angry, and anxious. At points, I was on the edge of my toes shaking while at others, I was on the verge of crying. The story has mlp references that mix perfect with the plot, some you may not even notice at first. The way K. M. Hayes managed to squeeze them in is just brilliant! Its not overdone or overkill. If you are a fan of the mlp, then the timing and the way they are placed in the story will hit you with relatable emotions, guaranteed. I will say it again becuse it needs to be repeated, this story was 20% cooler than any other. (Sorry, I had to throw that in somewhere) If not the favorite, this will be one of my favorite books for a long time to come. It has made me feel pride, dignity, and happiness. It opened me to new ideas and possibilities. It was the light at the end of the tunnel. I've never had that feeling come from any book before. One day I hope to have friends like Drew, one day. "No one can make you feel inferior without your consent."

I just finished this book today, while on my Thanksgiving holiday. I love how real the high school feel was, even though I wasn't bullied myself except for an incedent or two. I was more of a nobody, invisible type, and it was DBZ that was my escape back then. MLP:FiM didn't exist yet.I felt deeply for each of the characters. I wanted to know them and be friends with them too! Drew's dad made me so angry. I shed tears when a surprise hero came to Drew's rescue in ch. 27 and again in ch. 34 when Drew and his little sister Holly made a bittersweet MLP reference.It was definitly worth the buy and read!

I really liked this book. It is nicely written and easy to read. With great pleasure I read it - and, in my opinion, every brony should do it. Too often Young Adult novels tend to limited redeeming qualities to bullies, while focusing the narrative on the victimized. While these stories can leave the reader rooting for the bullied protagonist, the message can be a little K. M. Hayes did a great job at approaching bullying from several different angles here. In the end this was more of a story about bullying and embracing who you are at a time of your life where self-discovery is just starting to hit high gear. As a Brony parent of two teenage Bronies, I feel that there was a lot of truth here; at least I gather such from the stories my kids tell me, and interacting with fellow fans online.The Brony aspects of My Little Brony are there to serve the story and give the narrative its vehicle, but the author did her research. It is obvious to this reader that the writer is an actual fan, and subtle and not so subtle references to the show and fandom abound. This is really a sweet take on the positive appeal of the show, and how something as simple as a cartoon about brightly colored ponies can actually give direction and meaning to someone who is looking for it.In the end, this is a wonderful and surprisingly thought provoking story about relationships, how history and nuance can impact them, how we are influenced by our environment and past, and are capable of standing up and finding strength and conviction in what we see as a hostile environment.If you are a fan of the show or the fandom, or if you simply love a good bildungsroman ... read this book. You won't regret it./)

I was skeptical about this book, to be honest. I figured it would be really cringy, but I figured if it was that would still be entertaining. As it turns out, it was a pretty good read! I really like Skye, she seems like that quirky friend that everyone should meet. Some of the story was a little cliche and felt a little melodramatic. An example is when one character went from "not a bad guy, just has big dreams for his kid" to "1000x worse than Satan with no possible redemption" to "kind of a jerk but willing to make a truce" within such a short time. That felt rushed. Overall a good read with mostly well-written characters, I'll probably read it again and it almost makes me want to be involved with the MLP fandom instead of just enjoying the show.

The moral of this book is don't let people bring you down just because of something u like. It doesn't matter what other people think of you it is what you think of yourself and people can't tell you what u can and can't be when u grow up u can choose by yourself. I would recommend this book to people who like my little pony and are a brony or a pegasister. I rate this book 5 stars and if I could I would rate this book infinity stars because I really enjoyed it. When the book was over I was sad cuz I didn't want it to end. PLEASE MAKE MORE OF THESE BOOKS. 😅😄 this book is really get I'd and I think K. M. Hayes should make this into a series because I am impressed with how good it was and I enjoyed it. This book is my favorite book and if K. M. Hayes decides to make this into a series then that would be awesome because this book is an infinity star book. GREAT JOB K. M. HAYES ON WRITING A REALLY GOOD BOOK ABOUT BRONIES!!!! This book is really good so plz plz 's read it cuz once u read it u will know what I am talking about when I say it is really good.

The title of this book is The Legacy Era and it gives you the option of carrying on the names of famous players in the Star Wars universe.As I was browsing the list of available Legacies I was shocked to find one of the biggest contributors in the SW universe had been omitted. Lando Calrissian double-crossed Vader at Cloud City, helped Chewbacca and Leia escape from the Empire, infiltrated Jabba's Palace, became a General in the Rebellion army, and destroyed the 2nd Death Star but yet is not good enough to receive a Legacy in this book?? Nien Nunb has a Legacy and he was the co-pilot! Greedo has a Legacy! Really? Greedo? He was in the film for all of 2 minutes at the most.I double and triple checked this book but no Calrissian Legacy. Why such an egregious error by Wizards?

The writing and ideas seem hasty and slipshod. Not recommended unless you just want a few new ideas. Don't buy it at full price.

Again, USPS employee left outside my door for it to be stolen and I never got to enjoy it with my gamers.

This product has an awesome cover, and the inside definetely matches it. Along with a small selection of new character options and new prestige classes (namely, the Imperial Knight), this book is mostly fluff text and a few NPCs to put into your game.The next section may enrage any hardcore Legacy fans, but I feel its neccessary to gain full insight into the campaign setting.This is based in the Legacy era, which takes place 130(?) years after the Battle of Yavin. This means that the Galactic Alliance has both risen and fallen, same as the threat of the Yuuzan Vong and the New Jedi Order. The whole factor of non-movie storylines mean the story is more freeform for the casual Star Wars plan. That is probably its greatest strength.However, my biggest complaints as someone who has limited exposure to the Legacy storyline are as follows:-The exact same storyline is taking place. The empire is back in full swing. Nothing of use has happened as a result of Luke Skywalker and the Rebel Alliance.-Limited exposure once again for anybody to the Jedi Order. Granted it is more prominent than it was in the dark times, but the fact is we really don't need more than one "Jedi are in Exile" campaign setting in our library.-Every single antagonist has a lightsaber!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!If you are a fan of the Legacy era, buy this book now. It's on the cheap and is a good supplement if you ignore the gimmickiness of the arsenal of enemies.

For fans of both Star Wars: Legacy and the role-playing game, this campaign guide is a great resource. With plenty of new material beyond the comics, it also serves as a good resource for the era itself. My only disappointments are minor: Bantha Rawk's build seems inappropriate considering his back story and demonstrated abilities, and no inclusion of stats for Force-ghost Luke. The Legacy Destiny option is in a word, sweet. The art varies throughout between decent and amazing, so visual appeal is there as well.

This book takes into consideration that you are fairly aware of what the Legacy Era timeline actually is rather than going into a whole lot of detail regarding where it is, but other than that, I found it to be a well put together, well written book with plenty of crunch.I only wish they would continue with the theme used in Scum and Villiany with the short adventures int he back.

I got this hoping to get stats for the Tusken Raider race. There are no stats for the Tusken raider race in this book. Lots of other good stats.

I've seen others mention a lack of Lando legacy however, given the dynamic of the book a creative player and storyteller could come to an agreement to create one. Though, one of the Legacies listed by all available material would not be as listed, viz the Solo Legacy would either be Hapan Royal or Fel Imperial family, end spoiler. As for the rest the book will need supplimented with at least the core from this producer as your character set-up does run differently from the old West-End Games books, Dark Empire Sourcebook and the System present here are almost in a different language but, with Legacy Era Guide with the suppliment of the core book it won't take long to get a good start to a rich character. No faults here from the seller it just seems in need of an update from the publisher to correct.

Not what I expexted. As a recent owner of a Galaxy 7, I felt I needed some help. I don't like going to the phone store because I usually wait quite a while for help and when I do get someone to help they blast through the details and I walk away just as confused. Other Dummy books I've had were much more helpful. I would not recommend this book.

This book is not for dummies. You need to know a lot to be able to follow it. Totally unusable for me. Sorry I purchased the Samsung Galaxy S7 For Dummies. Money wasted. Purchased the Samsung Galaxy S7 For Seniors. It is much better.

This book is very well written and easy to understand without being condescending. As a former library tech, I judge books by their indexes, and this one is super! Easy to find what you need, makes sense and doesn't use needless techy language. Simple steps with simple illustrations to guide you. AND the fact that the book is specific to the exact model of phone is key. You are not in a general beginner's class, but learning what and how for your device. You are also free to pick and choose chapters of interest, and learn other things later - the beauty of a book!

The Galaxy S7 is my first smart phone, so maybe I'm behind the times, but I think the author expected you to know some basics on how smart phones work. My smart phone options did not match the options in the book.

I have in these past years become technically overwhelmed, so this is helpful for me in the use of my cell phone to it's maximum!

Too wordy. Just wanted the how-to (steps 1, 2, 3, etc.) By the time I got to the end of the process I had forgotten the beginning.

My motto is you learn something new every day. So clearly you may know some of the information contained in the book The techy portion was not for me since I don't qualify to read those details however I think it would appeal to someone that wants to know the intricacies I am 65 years old and still require younger generation to assist me with functionalities. This has given me a little more education on S7 functions so I won't have to ask so often.

Well written & VERY informative, especially for us electronically challenged individuals. Definitely worth the money. Would buy again.

Mine finally came in today. It’s full of cultural themes, not just El Dia de los Muertos. There’s so many details and colors in every card! As a seasoned practitioner, I wouldn’t advise this for a beginners deck. If you are a collector as well as a reader, I would suggest buying 2 decks, as the material the cards are made with are very “cheap”. I hate to use that word, but I don’t believe these will hold up to years of use. They bend easily and are flimsy. I’m not impressed with the card materials, but the box they came in is very sturdy. The booklet that came with the deck (in the box also) is small and does not go into detail about the symbology depicted on each card, but it gives a brief vague interpretation.Pros: strong sturdy box and immaculate artworkCons: cards are thin and flimsy card stock

There is something about this Deck. I could get rid of all of my many tarot decks and just use this Deck. Amazingly accurate and I ordered an extra deck to keep for if it ever disappears. This Deck has supernatural energy.

Honestly, I have no words for how much I loved this deck. I connected to it immediately. The artwork is just superb. The card stock amazing. The quality is A++If you’re debating if it’s as good as it appears I am telling you it is. I was a bit scared it would feel cheap like the linestrider deck I bought before but it isn’t. This is a whole different level of quality. I can’t recommend it enough.

i was really excited for this deck to come out and waited for months for the limited edition version to be released. However; my pre order was cancelled due to lack of product in stock. This deck is just as gorgeous and i adore it but wonder why theres two 4 of cups printed on it..? the art work is a direct refelection of the majors and arcanas and remain true to the original waite deck!

Just received my much-anticipated deck. I love it! The illustrations are very cool. There is a lot of Aztec and Incan symbolism in the deck as well. The stock is not super thick, but the cards are very shiny and slick. If you collect Tarot decks, this is a must-have​!

The reason I like this deck is because it alternates between computer generated skulls, cartoon drawings, and genuinely inspired compositions of the characters and objects on the deck. Pro's: Full color and no border cards, really colorful, back of cards have thought put into them, packaging is unique. Gold foil reflective shiny stuff and a deck package where you just pop the top off, Cons: The vision of the whole deck is not very cohesive, and will not provide you will more detailed readings or put you in a different headpsace than other decks. Excited to look at other decks by fabio listrani.

Very powerful deck! Amazing colors and unique take on the imagery of the cards. Mostly true to RWS. The cards have an attitude of themselves. You will know when to stop shuffling them and manipulating them and set them down. I relate Goddess Kali to this deck, death and rebirth! My ONLY complaint, which pains me not to rate the full 5 stars, is that these are hard to shuffle. The card stock is too stiff which makes it difficult and uncomfortable to shuffle. Makes the deck taller, and hard to manipulate. I was doing the bridge as I was shuffling and my Strength card got bent 😓

I preordered these, and was very excited to get them, as it’s right up my alley! Beautiful cards! As you can see, I’ve attached several photos of some of my favorites from the deck. However, the cards are thinner than other decks I’ve handled, so I feel I have to be a bit more careful. All in all, I’m not disappointed!
