As a professional counselor and PLR therapist who has been doing this work for many years, I was curious about whether this book would be a valid training course. I am most impressed with the careful, concise and clear directions and scripting included in this book and course. It is critical that one be fully trained before using PLR techniques and the author emphasizes this throughout.Please do not, however, just think that you can read the book and hop in, without prior training as a counselor who has been trained in dealing with strong client emotions. Powerful emotions can be triggered in these sessions and damage can be done if the therapist does not understand how to help a client through those emotions positively and effectively.The descriptions of how to set up sessions and work with clients, as well as the induction, progression and closure scripts are well done and similar to the ones I use. Overall, this is an excellent book and course for a counselor or therapist wanting to learn these techniques. I would encourage anyone with Interest in learning how to do PLR to explore the book, and to follow the certification directions.
