even if you dont have anxiety, the author's details of how food affects the brain chemestry is an eye-opener. I stopped eating sugar after reading this book! helped me understand my brain chemicals and physiology of the brain.
Information if used I believe could change your life for the better. Great supplement information also included. Highly recommend for those with anxiety. The stop it drop it phrase has helped me with ruminating negative thoughts. Again highly recommend!
There is some solid advice in the book, however the author makes frequent reference to SSRI’s and serotonin in general that reveal how outdated some of his research is. However, the bulk of the info it contains is valid, but also nothing new. Just a new way of organizing it for the reader.
This is probably the fourth copy of this book that I've purchased. I tend to loan it to my therapy clients and they decide it is something they want to own.
Although flicking through this book it looked a little intimidating and demanding, it offers a number of different levels depending on your need. I've been enjoying all of the recommendations and the simple classifications for anxiety.
The wife said it was a good book.
Very helpful book on anxiety and how to attain a quiet mind for those with a mind is constantly in motion. Lots of information on herbal remedies along with helpful techniques.
