Dr. David Myers is a gifted teacher and writer. I had the good fortune of meeting him about 8 years ago at a publishing conference and admire him very much. As a Christian psychologist, he has a special way of bringing to light the many unifying beliefs and concepts shared by both "theologies" as well as the differences. I loved this book and have recommended it to many of my friends, including Christians, believers in other faith communities, and non believers.
This book has some great insights from the perspective of psychology and the Christian faith. The author makes some great points to illustrate how the two can be viewed hand in hand, and that you do not have to give up faith in God to study psychology. This is a great book to go along with his Exploring Psychology (9th Edition). His viewpoints are clear, and I enjoyed this book.

I got this book along with Meyers' other book, Exploring Psychology. I like how each of the chapters are short and to the point, yet they still bring out very good ideas to ponder. It shows how God is fully integrated into the field of Psychology, even though many psychologists try to separate the two. I would recommend this book to a friend.
