Now it's time he pays the price.I loved Brooke, she was strong and independent. Unfortunately for her, she was too strong. She carried the weight of the world on her shoulders. Despite her strength, she wasn't strong enough to let her guard down and trust in someone else. Dex snuck over her walls, got underneath her skin. She loved and hated it. He showed her it was okay to let someone help you shoulder the burden.Dex surprised me. Where the other men wouldn't let their women take control if their lives depended on it, Dex truly enjoyed Brooke being on top--literally. She didn't judge. Allowed him to explore parts of himself in ways he never imagined.I love Brooke and Dex. Absolutely love this series. It keeps getting better, and I bet the spin off will be just as good or even better.
I love this entire series and this installment was smoking hot. I loved how Dex and Brooke compliment each other perfectly. The former man whore and the man eater have each met their match! They are so smoking hot and perfect for each other. And then there’s the plot....ooh, yet another mystery in the DAMC clan. The world building is great. I’d recommend reading them all in order. It’s so much more fun when you know all the players, but not necessary if this is your first. Hang on for a bumpy sexy ride!!
I wasn't sure if I was going to like this book as much as the others because Dex wasn't really a very prominent character in the other books but I really did enjoy Dex and Brooke's story. I always like to know how the other characters are moving along as well. I have said this in past book reviews and I will say it here too - Crow needs his own book. And I am going to add one more request - Diesel's crew of security need their own series of books as well.
This was another amazing read! I've been waiting to see how brings down Dex and I was pleasantly surprised when Brooke walks into his life! Brooke is more than a strong heroine, I would call her an alpha too. One of my favorite books so far! Can't wait for Linc and then Crow (DYING to read this one!)
Another scorcher from Jeanne. Dex and Brooke have off the charts chemistry and I loved the role reversals, never seem that before. The twists and turns are something you don’t see coming. Loved it. Can’t wait for Linc and Crow â¤ï¸
I love this series, and have preordered the next book. I was a bit disappointed that Dex was not more alpha, and that Brooke seemed to take that role. But getting further into the story, Dex did take on that role and the sharing of the alpha role worked for them. Really enjoyed this story and can't wait for the next book!
As always you have done an amazing job of bringing you characters to live. A sad and beautiful love story. Can't wait for the next one.
Unexpected twist, liked where this headed. Love the DAMC. Hope we never run out of broken hers and their women. Would love to see novellas catching up with all these characters later in their relationships with these strong sisters.
